Ruby Maka Shrestha
Ruby is a public health expert working at Dhulikhel Hospital Kathmandu University Hospital (DHKUH), Nepal, where she holds the position of Research Project Lead for Health System and Policy Research as well as Environmental Health Research.
She has a Master's degree in Public Health with a specialization in Environmental and Occupational Health, attained from both the University of Sheffield, UK, and Ecole des hautes études en santé publique (EHESP), France. Her research engagement encompasses collaborative efforts with local stakeholders and the community to conduct community-oriented research endeavors.
Her research focuses on the influence and interaction of environmental factors and climate change on public health, which results in policy recommendations and dialogue based on the research findings.
