Our Global FEWture: Cultivating Food-Energy-Water Solutions is our new Coursera offering. 

Through four accessible modules, our global team of experts teaches the systems dynamics, local challenges, and global solutions to providing food, energy, and water amid a changing climate. 

The course will be of interest to farmers, community organizers, public health scientists, agricultural scientists, environmental engineers, and students across disciplines. Please join us by enrolling in the first module for free! 

This inclusive program is tailored to all levels of expertise: undergraduate, graduate, technical, and professional.

Project objectives:

• Offer a MOOC curriculum consisting of four modules, including short quizzes and short answer questions
• Provide students an opportunity to earn a Coursera Certificate in FEW systems science
• Deliver asynchronous lectures delivered by UMD faculty and invited lecturers who are experts in FEW systems
• Survey the history of FEW systems, climate change impacts on health, site-specific insights, and solutions and technologies in the FEW nexus
